My name is Michael Howard (NVM) a Freelance Illustrator based in the UK.

My work reflects my obsession with iconography and semiotics whilst exploring; punk, patches, tattoos, stickers, graffiti and in turn creating detailed illustrations, portraits or however these things manifest. I strive to create a conflict in the hard and softness of my work through colour, subject matter or individual elements. Sometimes by adding just enough detail so that each time a piece is viewed there is always something new to look at.
